Mars Delight have been out for a few years now. Although they aren't my favourite Chocolate bars, I like 1 now and again. They are obviously made by Mars, as the title suggests, but seem to be different from any other Chocolate bar out there.
The wrapper to this is a cream colour and it has a black swirl on it, and the Mars writing in Red. Pretty much the same writing as you would find on a Mars Bar. There is a small picture of the chocolate bar on the front as well.
You can buy these in individual bars, and they cost about 45p or in 4 pack multipacks for about £1.40. I haven't seen the multipacks about in shops for a while, and not all shops stock the individual bars, so they can be few and far between to find these.
The Bars are 40g. They are split into 2 bars, so you can eat them individually and keep the other for later - yeah right!. The bars are quite thin and long and ridged at the top. The bottom of the bar is flat, and the ridges are quite deep and thick.
So what is the bar? It is Mars Milk Chocolate, and inside the chocolate is a wafer shell that is stuffed with toffee and nugget. The toffee and nugget is quite thinly spread, and the same kind of filling you would find in a Mars bar, but as I said a bit finer. You can still taste the Mars flavour throughout the bar, and I find these lovely, a nice change and not as heavy or sickly as normal Mars Bars. The taste is quite sweet, but not overly.
Nutrition wise these have 99 calories per 1 bar, and 5.5g fat, so a whole pack is just under 200 so not too bad for a chocolate bar.
I wouldn't recommend these are an amazing chocolate bar, as they seem quite simple, but I like the odd one for a nice change.
If you like Mars chocolate, you should love these!
