As I'm a huge fan of caramel I've decided to try the Galaxy caramel bar, of course it's supposes to be the Mars answer the the Caramel Dairy Milk by Cadbury's but can it compete or will it fall short like many Mars products do? Of course the idea that Mars have a luxury chocolate in the Galaxy brand is a half truth, compared to the normal chocolate of course it is a luxury, as the normal Mars chocolate is actually rather poor despite it's popularity, the Galaxy on the other hand is soft creamy and lovely tasting but often seems to suffer from problems regarding melting. Bars which melt with caramel inside them can become a repulsive mess of sticky brown goo so it must be ... Read the complete review

I love caramel, and galaxy caramel is the best there is. I would always choose it over other caramel centred products on the market. when complimented with creamy galaxy chocolate - im thrilled they have introduced the larger bar as well. The packaging is extremely attractive, plastic wrap for freshness, in browns and gold, giving you conotations of the chocolate inside. It looks both luxurious and asthetically pleasing, without looking too upmarket as to put off younger buyers. The chocolate is split into six sections, in two sections, so great for eating at two seperate times, as well giving you the option to share as well ( although that never ... Read the complete review

One of my fave chocolate bars at the minute is Galaxy Caramel because the caramel in it is so different to other chocolate bars that have used caramel. It's made like a Cadburys caramel so there are 6 pieces of chocolate and they have been filled with this rich and yummy caramel that has me licking my lips as soon as I see it. The Galaxy chocolate isn't very thick on this bar but that's ok because Galaxy is very sweet chocolate and I reckon it would be a bit much if it was any thicker because of how sweet the caramel is. The inside of each piece of chocolate is completely filled with caramel and when you bite it in half you can get into a proper mess ... Read the complete review

This is a review for the new larger sized 135g bar of Galaxy Caramel. I saw this out shopping the other day and having wanted to try one for ages I immediately grabbed it. I found it in the co-op for just £1 which I thought was great value for this bar. This was on special offer however I'm unsure what the standard retail price of this bar is. Most Galaxy bars this size cost around £1.25 so possibly around that mark. The bar itself is around 6 inches long, 4 inches wide and half an inch tall. The chocolate is wrapped in paper and on the front of the bar is a large Galaxy logo with the caramel logo underneath. There is also a large red band to the upper ... Read the complete review

On first glance at this king of confectionary products, you might assume that it is simply a cadburys caramel in a different packet, but you would be so wrong. It is so much more than that. This is the kind of chocolate that you invariably stray towards and veer away from, knowing that to open it is to devour the whole thing in a matter of seconds of pure, unadulterated, sinful bliss. You can buy one of these bars of chocolate for around 50p in most newsagents, supermarkets, petrol stations and the like. Once you have tried one they seem to spring up in your periphery vision and tease you unrelentingly until you have to just stop looking at the chocolate ... Read the complete review
