Advantages: Taste wicked; The best caramel I've had in a choc bar

One of my fave chocolate bars at the minute is Galaxy Caramel because the caramel in it is so different to other chocolate bars that have used caramel. It's made like a Cadburys caramel so there are 6 pieces of chocolate and they have been filled with this rich and yummy caramel that has me licking my lips as soon as I see it.

The Galaxy chocolate isn't very thick on this bar but that's ok because Galaxy is very sweet chocolate and I reckon it would be a bit much if it was any thicker because of how sweet the caramel is. The inside of each piece of chocolate is completely filled with caramel and when you bite it in half you can get into a proper mess because the caramel is quite thin but very stringy so I quite often get strings of caramel stuck to my chin!

The chocolate and caramel go wicked together and I think that's because of how different this caramel tastes to other bars like this. It's very simlar to the caramel in Caramel Kegs that you get in Roses and it's got a lovely toffee flavour to it that is sweet and I can also taste a bit of treacle in it sometimes, it's not just boring one dimensional caramel like Cadburys use in their caramel bars.

I love the 2 flavours because they mix gorgeous together and feel like a proper sweet treat when you eat it. The caramel is so smooth and has got a strong flavour so that that's the main taste in the bar but it doesn't overwhelm the chocolate because being Galaxy has a strong cocoa flavour that is sweet and creamy and that helps take some of the edge off the mega sweet caramel.

I think this chocolate bar is very sweet and sickly because of how creamy the chocolate is and how sugary the caramel is. I had a normal sized bar and I don't know if it comes in bigger bars but I don't think I'd want one even if it did because I'd end up stuffing my face and then puking my guts up, I reckon I'll stick with the normal size one when I have a Galaxy Caramel.
