... and taste the Galaxy chocolate inside starting to melt in your mouth. Being as it's Galaxy chocolate it's very smooth and silky tasting, it's rich but because these are small sweets instead of a bar of chocolate it makes the richness more manageable. I don't think Minstrels are sickly at all, I'm just finishing a big share bag and I don't feel even queasy! They are pure chocolate overload, the sugar shell even tastes chocolatey and that's unusual because this sort of hard crunchy coating normally just tastes madly...more

Galaxy chocolate is lovely and creamy but not my favourite. I will forever be a Cadbury freak as I love that intense chocolate hit. However Galaxy does a very creamy original taste which sometimes just hit's the spot. Minstrels being made of Galaxy chocolate, have that creamy taste but with a twist. A minstrel is a round sweet that is about the size of a 10p piece, well almost. The outer casing is a crispy, candy shell which cracks up easily and nicely when being eaten. If preferred you can suck the sweet until the shell disappears and the delicious chocolate comes through. That's because the outer casing hides a decent size helping of smooth and creamy Galaxy ...  Read the complete review

I had a bit of a chocolate craving this afternoon so I bought myself a bag of Mars Galaxy Minstrels, Firstly it appears that the bags get smaller everytime I buy one however they are still forty five pence for a small bag. Whether or not this means they are putting less Minstrels in the bag (which would be bad) or just reducing the packaging (which would be good) it is hard to say. Minstrels are one of my favourite chocolates, they are made from Galaxy milk chocolate which is very creamy and you can taste the milk, and this is encashed in a chocolate sugar shell and they are disc shaped like a flying saucer. They are quite hard to bite into and the ...  Read the complete review

I have just been to Weightwatchers and to treat myself because I have lost 3 lbs this week I brought myself a bag of Minstrels. I have not had these for a long time but when I saw them in the shop I really fancied them. Minstrels are made by Galaxy and they are lovely. Every Minstrel is a bite of luxury Galaxy chocolate and this is coated in a crispy chocolate flavour sugar shell. The Minstrels I am eating now are very nice. I usually suck them until the sugar shell breaks and then let the chocolate inside melt slowly in my mouth. They are sweet and the chocolate is silky smooth because it is Galaxy. The sugar coating does not have a taste of its ...  Read the complete review

Galaxy mistrels are up there at the top of my list of favorite chocolates. Galaxy minstrels are chocolate pieces about the size of a new 10p piece, They concist of galaxy milk chocolate in the middle that is smooth and silky on your tongue, creamy to the taste and absolutley geargeous as is all galaxy chocolate. This chocolate is encased in a hard sugar shell very similar to the ones on the out side of smarties, it is brown in colour and chocolate flavored. Galaxy chocolate is always expensive but you get what you pay for, minstrels are 55p a bag from my corner shop and I have never seen these in multipacks, The crispy outer shell and ...  Read the complete review

I love galaxy chocolate, it has to be the beast chocolate ever. Galaxy minstrels are a creamy, silky smooth chocolate middle with a crispy outer shell, quite similar to cadburys mini eggs shells but these taste of chocolate. They cost around 50p for a small bag or £1.50 for a large bag, big enough to share except i dont like to share them and will eat a whole bag to myself. You get around 25 pieces in a small bag and around 100 pieces in a large bag. Each piece is a circular shape which looks like it has been squashed, when you first put it in your mouth the crispy shell tastes very chocolatey, once you bite through the crispy shell you ...  Read the complete review
