An indulgent treat (Mars Galaxy Minstrels)
Member Name: sparkle2
Advantages: Taste delicious Disadvantages: Relatively high in calories While eating some galaxy minstrels, it struck me that I should write a review about how delicious these bite sized nuggets of heaven are. Galaxy chocolate is smooth and creamy and after watching their recent series of adverts, is associated with a luxurious treat sensation. Though for most people (or maybe its just me) chocolate has become an everyday essential rather than an occasional treat, I still find that when I want to indulge I will pick on some galaxy minstrels. At 211 calories in a standard 42g bag, they are certainly not the healthiest choice, but this adds to the feeling of indulgence. Minstel packs come in different sizes with the most common being the small packets you find in nnewsagents and the bigger sharing packs found in supermarkets. These sharing packs come with a resealable sticker allowing you to close the pack and maintain the freshness of the chocolate. The actual minstrels are small and circular shape and consist of some creamy chocolate encased in a crisp smooth shell. This contrast between the crispy shell and smooth chocolate inside is what makes these different from a normal bar of galaxy milk chocolate and it is this which attracts me to minstrels time and time again. Overall, minstrels are a yummy, if unhealthy, treat that should be eaten when you feel like indulging. Summary: Luxuriously smooth and creamy |
