Advantages: Galaxy choclate, less calories than a bar of Galaxy

Disadvantages: Noisy to eat!

Ahh Minstrels... As I write this I'm staring at my sad, empty packet, and mourning my loss. These crispy, crunchy little sweeties are truly scrumptious. For those of you so shockingly underprivileged to have never seen a Minstrel, I shall describe them to you. They are small, penny-sized, brown ovals, with a crispy outer shell, and a smooth, chocolaty inner layer. They look (and smell) delicious, which must be because of the lurvley Galaxy chocolate they are made from...
Nutrition-wise, a portion (one 42g bag) contains:
211 calories
28.9g of sugar
9.4g fat
5.5g saturates and
0.1g salt
As you can see, they aren't the healthiest sweet on the market (although they have less calories than a plain bar of Galaxy's 250!), but they are, in my opinion, one of the tastiest! They are excellent as an occasional treat, with the one bad point being once you start eating, you can't stop! Okay if you have a small bag, but not like, if me, you buy a big cinema sized bag! Just expect it to be empty in a matter of minutes!
They come in all shapes and sizes of packet, from individual 42g packets (which can be bought in multipacks), to the big 170g cinema bags, and also can be bought in big tubes (especially around the Christmas period).
Only one bad point to Galaxy Minstrel, as I found out today, which is that they are very noisy to eat! (So not good if you're trying to sneakily munch on them... You tend to get found out quite quickly!)
On the whole, Galaxy Minstrels are lovely sweeties for fans of Galaxy chocolate, and I can't recommend them enough. As the packet says, "surrender to smooth and creamy Galaxy milk chocolate captured in crispy shells."
