Smoothest chocolate (Mars Galaxy Minstrels)

Advantages: Yummy and easy to eat

Yum Yum....Minstrels here I come.

Firstly I must point out that there are two different types of chocolate eaters. There are those that will eat any chocolate, but obviously have their favourites and then there are the hardcore groups that will not budge from their preferred brand. Now I am very much in the first group of people. I just LOVE chocolate.

Now Minstrels are made by Mars Inc. The chocolate is in the same group as Mars, Snickers, M&M's and so on. On the opposite side of the fence we have the famous Cadburys. Now I am very partial to small drops of chocolate and find myself dithering between Minstrels and Buttons.

Now Minstrels are Galaxy Chocolate (which is yummy) and they come in standard bags of 42 grams as well as big bumper sized bags. Price can vary wildly between 30 pence and 70 pence for a small bag depending on where you shop and live.

Each bag contains:-

2.2 grams of protein
29.5 grams of carbohydrates
9.4 grams of fat

The packaging is a brown shiny packet that you can easily pull open (or tear if you are feeling greedy and are rushing). Each Minstrel is round and has a hard crisp shell on the outside and then smooth galaxy chocolate on the inside, the perfect combination. As much as I love Cadburys Galaxy choloate does seem to be incredibly smooth, and no,. I can't explain smooth but eat it and you will see what I mean.

The only downside to Minstrels is that they are incredibly moreish and after eating a small packet it's incredibly hard to not want more!

All in all this is a great chocolate that is ideal for quick on the go snacking (especially as these packets can be hidden in coat pockets, handbags and then sneakily taken out and eaten one at a time).
