Introduction Minstrels have been around for years now and they are made by Mars Galaxy a competitor to Cadbury's. They are both up there in the high rankings! I first came across minstrels at a young age in the smaller bags but they are available in the large multi packs now! Packaging The packaging on the small ... Read the complete review

I love Minstrels and always have even though I've never been mad keen on Galaxy chocolate. A Minstrel is a disk of chocolate that is covered in a chocolate sugar shell, I can't remember if it was Minstrels that were supposed to melt in your mouth and not in your hand but that sounds about right to me! The best way to eat a Minstrel is ... Read the complete review

**Overview** I'm definitely a bit of a chocoholic and I tend to have a chocolate hit most days, however I never gorge on chocolate and prefer chocolate that allows you to have lots of little tastes. Therefore Mars Galaxy Minstrels are a really nice treat. The old slogan for these heavenly chocolate drops was 'they melt in your mouth, ... Read the complete review

I am eating my way through what is supposed to be a 'treat size' bag of Minstrels as opposed to the standard bag. These packets are intended to 'share'. Not a word used often with me when we are talking about chocolate. I love Cadburys, but have to be honest and say that I also just love Galaxy chocolate too. The chocolate (made by Mars ... Galaxy Minstrels, large bag 170g purchased from Asda for £1.74 but also on offer for 3 for £4. This product comes in a reseaable bag for longer lasting freshness and Galaxy also do their bit by ensuring the bag they supply the sweets in is recyclable too! Yum Yum....Minstrels here I come. Firstly I must point out that there are two different types of chocolate eaters. There are those that will eat any chocolate, but obviously have their favourites and then there are the hardcore groups that will not budge from their preferred brand. Now I am very much in the first group of people. I just ... Read the complete review

I am a big chocolate fan, I could eat it all day everyday and not get bored of it I am sure, however I do have some control over my obsession and limit the amount I buy and spend on chocolate. I think most people have either a sweet or savoury tooth and mine is most definitely a sweet tooth! If I buy chocolate when doing my weekly shop ... Read the complete review

Ahh Minstrels... As I write this I'm staring at my sad, empty packet, and mourning my loss. These crispy, crunchy little sweeties are truly scrumptious. For those of you so shockingly underprivileged to have never seen a Minstrel, I shall describe them to you. They are small, penny-sized, brown ovals, with a crispy outer shell, and a smooth, ... Galaxy or Cadbury. Tough choice. I know a lot of people plump for Cadbury simply because they sell more products. Yet there is something decadent about Galaxy chocolate. There is an air of naughtyness as you bit into a piece of Galaxy, that you don't get with a Cadbury chocolate. The Minstrels are a treat I allow myself a few times a ... Read the complete review

Galaxy minstrels are a bit of a strange one for me as I don't really like the taste of galaxy chocolate in general. I find the taste of it just a bit too smooth and I just find it a bit sickly however these are one of the few galaxy products that I really love. I think the reason for it is because they don't just taste like the galaxy ... Read the complete review

I love these little round tablets of happiness. A crisp shell which gives way to a good bit of smooth, creamy, galaxy chocolate, it's heaven in minature size. In fact, excuse me as I run and get some... Found in a brown bag, with the galaxy symbol in the right hand corner, there is a large scroll 'Minstrels' across the front so you can ... As a chocolate lover I find that tend to favour Galaxy chocolate and Cadburys Dairy Milk. That's why i was delighted when i discovered Galaxy Minstrels. So just been tossed a packet of Minstrels and as I'm not the sort to turn anything free down (apart from maybe Strongbow and Carlsberg Lager) I'm going to enjoy these...and review them whilst doing so. I could not write reviews about my favourite chocolate and leave out my beloved Minstrels, could I? If Galaxy found out they might not let me have anymore then what would I do?! I am very fond of my chocolate treats and I have to say that Galaxy Minstrels are some of my favourites. These are the survial rations of our choice when heading to the Cinema.
