Another day, another chocolate bar, this time it's a Galaxy Ripple, again, a new chocolate bar for me! A Galaxy Ripple can be described as smooth and creamy milk chocolate with a rippled centre. The chocolate bar itself is long and thin and to me, pretty much resembles a Cadburys flake as the rippled centre is formed just like a flake bar. The chocolate is folded up and over on itself and so really does look like a flake. There is only one bar as well per package which is the same as a flake. I would say one of the only differences is that the bar itself is covered with a thin layer of Galaxy chocolate all over so is a bit different to a flake. It's probably ...

Galaxy Ripple is one of my favourite kinds of chocolate for a quick snack. A Ripple is like a halfway house between a solid bar of chocolate, which can be a bit heavy, and a Cadburys Flake, which is much lighter but drops bits everywhere. A Ripple consists of chocolate that is literally rippled into folds, and then encased within more chocolate which stops it crumbling into tiny fragments. All brands of chocolate have their own distinctive flavour and Galaxy is no exception. It is a very creamy chocolate and I would say it is sweeter than most other brands I have tried. First of all I have a confession to make - I am addicted to chocolate. I am not a purist and I love all chocolate from the own brand stuff to best brands; from Thornton's to hand made Belgian chocolate. I just love the smell, the taste, the texture. I do of course have a few favourites and Galaxy Ripple is one of them. A little information about Galaxy: Galaxy is a company owned by Masterfoods, the same company that owns Mars.
