Ripple's are my fave choc bar ever and I don't know why but I hardly ever buy them when I go into the shop for some chocolate. I reckon it's because Galaxy chocolate is always on the top shelf so by the time my eyes are drawn up there I've already picked something else up! It's Galaxy chocolate that has been made into long thin ribbons and then pushed together to create a rippling effect. The thin bar is then coated in the same chocolate. The most close chocolate bar I can think of is a Flake but you don't get into half as much as a mess with a Ripple because the chocolate is more solid. The taste is just like a Galaxy but it's a bit different ... Read the complete review

***Mars Galaxy Ripple*** As I am probably too old to trick or treat I have to be content with finding my own sweet tooth fix. I nipped to Tesco and thought I would try one of these. The packaging entices you with 'Surrender to smooth and creamy Galaxy milk chocolate with a rippled centre' - well, I thought it would be rude not to... ***What Are They Like?*** The packaging is the familiar brown packaging, which is easily identified with the Galaxy range. It is basically a stick of chocolate, very much like a Flake or a Twirl. It is Galaxy chocolate in folds, which is then coated with a thick layer of smooth creamy chocolate. ... After having suffered the torment of drinking the Galaxy chocolate milk drink I had started to convince myself everything I already knew about Galaxy must have been wrong. So to try and act as a decider I went and bought a Galaxy Ripple bar (yeah it's a poor excuse to buy chocolate, but who cares). Why a Ripple and not one of the other among the Galaxy range? Well mainly because Ripples we're near the top of the shelf and the laziness of not needing to bend over won the day. The Ripples come in a rather luxuriously boring brown colour, similar to the sister products such as Minstrels which are lovely sweets on their own. The flirty little wrapper acts like a ... I read a review for Galaxy and it enticed me to go to the cupboard and get a galaxy ripple...there goes the diet, oops! For me, galaxy chocolate is the ultimate indulgence, the best chocolate on the market by a long shot. Found individually or in 6 packs, these are long thin chocolate bars in the classic brown galaxy wrapping. On the wrapper is the image of a ribbon like texture chocolate. 'Ripple' is scrawled across the wrapper so as to mark it out and there is that 'galaxy' sign that looks like its been written in melted chocolate. It really entices you to tuck in!! So you open that wrapper and peel back the plastic to reveal that smooth, light ... Read the complete review

Anyone who regularly reads my reviews will be fully aware I do love a nice bit (or alot of lol) chocolate. Of late I've branched out...tried bars I've never tried before and this, well I had never tried it before a couple of days ago! The Packaging: Long, oblong light and dark brown plastic tube type of packet with some swirls of milk chocolate shown on the front of it. I am told it is Galaxy Ripple 'Surrender to smooth and creamy Galaxy milk chocolate with a ripple centre and there is an at a glance nutritional chart as well. Other information on the packet tells me contact details for Mars (the manufacturer of the product), the best before date is ... Read the complete review
