Mars Ice Cream If you haven't eaten one of these before, then they are a similar size to a normal Mars bar and contain yummy Mars flavour (which tastes a bit like toffee flavour) dairy ice cream and a strip of caramel, all contained in a chocolate shell. They sound like they may be a little sickly but in fact, they are really tasty and one bar is just enough. Though I am sure that kids would love them, they are actually quite a grown up taste, creamy and indulgent with the caramel being just enough to add a different flavour without being overpowering. The texture is also good, not too hard and not too runny, meaning that it doesn't fall apart in ... Read the complete review

It's a shame we haven't really had much of a summer to enjoy ice-creams outside, but Mars ice-creams are something I like whatever the weather when I want something that's rich in chocolate, creamy and chilled. Mars Ice-creams are, unsurprisingly, produced by Mars. If you like Mars bars you're more than likely to love these. Being made by Mars you expect quality and a taste that rivals their regular chocolate, and that's what you get with their ice-cream. These are typically sold in a box of 6 x 51ml bars, which currently seem to have a design on the box saying they're a special purchase at £2. This is about average, and actually a good buy if you ... Anyone who has read any of my Cadbury's reviews knows that I am a huge fan of Cadbury's products. Thats not to say i don't like Mars products, its just that normally I far prefer Cadburys. I think its the whole dairy milk vs Galaxy thing, I just find Dairy Milk nicer. It may then surprise you to find out that mars ice cream is my absolute most favorite ice cream ever. It beats all the Cadburys ice cream, and all the Ben and Jerrys, this really is amazing ice cream! Mars ice creams come in choc ice formats. They come in multipacks or single ice creams. The mulitpack ice creams are essentially the same as the single ones, just smaller. The multipack ice creams ... Read the complete review

With the last few days seeing a bit of a burst of hot weather, it has seen the ice creams coming out of the freezer a bit more frequently. I do like to indulge in an ice cream bar sometimes rather than having a bowl and a spoon, especially when I want to enjoy something to myself without having to share with a toddler. This way by eating a bar it's gone quicker and I get more to myself. Mars Ice cream bars come in packs of four, which can usually be found on offer for around a pound. When they are much more expensive than this I tend to get something else, but I will admit to the Mars being one of my favourites. All the other varieties seem to base ... Read the complete review

When I was younger, every Summer we'd stock up on ice cream. Even if it wasn't particularly sunny I'd eat them - it was one of the things I would look forward to about the Summer holidays. There were the usual options I'd have: cornettos, fabs and choc ices. Though now and again, especially as I got a bit older, I'd try new things, one of which is the Mars ice cream. Brand: Mars Packaging: cardboard box, individually wrapped Appearance: long, chocolate brown Taste: rich, chocolate Texture: chewy, melts Price: £1.50 - £2 Availability: most good supermarkets Mars is a very popular brand - they are best known for their ...
