Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: Maybe a little bit bad for you
Mars Ice Cream bars are a real treat! if you haven't tried one yet, I really think you should!
The bars are the same sort of size and shape as a mars bar, and follow the same principal, but the whipped up bit in the centre of the mars bar is replaced by a delicious malty tasting ice cream. This is topped with runny caramel and all encased in a smooth milk chocolate shell. The combination of textures makes it all the more enjoyable. So, you see, the same, yet somehow different! if you like mars bars...you will love mars ice cream. I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, but I would near kill for one of these sometimes.
The ice creams come in different sizes, regular and xtra (just like mars bars...you are getting the connection now!) A regular one costs around 90p and the larger one around £1.30. This varies a lot.
One 79 ml mars ice cream provides you with 222 calories (yikes!) and 12.8g of fat (help!) it doesn't say how much of this is saturated fat, so I am wondering if it is the whole lot! Never mind, it's summer, and round here we have to take the bull by the horns.....There are no artificial colours or flavours (hurrah!)
These are divine. A real sweet, chocolate and ice cream hit in one shot.
Summary: Hit's your sweet, chocolate and ice cream buttons all at once.
