... you have a mini roll mixed with an inner layer of soft sweet Mars mixture, which gives it, it's great taste. The whole cake is then wrapped in crunchy milk chocolate, identical to that of a proper Mars bar. These are great little snacks for any time and they have less sugar in them than the real bars. Without the caramel, you can worry less about your white teeth but rest assured you still have the caramel taste within. The one bad thing about cake bars and include this one, the crush easily, and so does the one in...more

Premium Review Mars Mini Rolls: Munch Merrily on a Mini Mars (506 words)

Everytime I visit my local shop I look out of things that I can review on dooyoo. Here's another one I found. Packaging: The mini rolls are invidually wrapped in a predominantly black wrapper which keeps them isolated from the air once the wrapper covering the main tray has been opened. The mini rolls are laid in the tray which is wrapped with a plastic covering. Again this is predominantly black, with the familiar Mars logo in red with vanilla coloured edging. The back of the pack lists the Customer Care details, the ingredients & the nutritional information as well as some "publicity" asking "Have you tried our Mars ...  Read the complete review

Mars Mini Rolls are sold in a mullet pack which holds 6 of the delicious little treats. I bought two of these packs for £2.00 at Netto recently. Buying one pack would have worked out cheaper and I knew a man who would soon consume these cake bars. When you open the outer packaging you will see that each Mars Mini Roll is individually wrapped. This makes them perfect for adding to snack boxes and packed lunches as well as making them easy to store. I have chosen to store mine in the bottom of my fridge as, like most chocolaty foods, they taste better chilled. So do they taste like Mars Bars, I hear you ask, as one? Hubby would say no ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mars Mini Rolls: SWEET AND SICKLY (316 words)

This is the Mars version of Cadbury's Mini Rolls in a way. Same kind of design, but obviously different. You get 6 in a pack and they normally cost around the £1.60 mark. They were on offer at Asda for £1 a few weeks ago and I bought them again then, as I love a bargain. The rolls are individually wrapped inside in a black wrapper with the Mars writing in Red, just like the colourings on a Mars Bar wrapper. The rolls sit on a cardboard tray. For packaging reasons I would say this is not needed, but it keeps them from perhaps getting squashed. The outside wrapper is a larger version of the inside one and stands out on the shelves with the colourings. There is a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Have We Time For A Mini-Roll Dear? (707 words)

If Mc Vities had advertised for a taster for their Mars bar mini rolls then I would have gladly applied for the post. A Mars a day helps you work rest and play. A well thought up advertising campaign! I know so many people who can only eat a small slice or two from a Mars bar owing to the richness of the chocolate and soft nougat confection. Strangely enough I can manage to eat one bar, feel no guilt and could swiftly move on to the second bar without feeling remotely stuffed. Take a product, closely examine the flavour and texture and then try to inject that taste into another form, hence the supermarket shelves and freezer cabinets are laden with ...  Read the complete review
