These are small ball shaped sweets, that look similar to maltesers. There's a couple of differences though. The first being that some are filled with caramel, the second being that some are filled with nougat. The remainder are essentially identical to maltesers. I find these an interesting variation on the standard mars bar, that ... Read the complete review

As you may know my favourite chocolate bar is Mars so when I heard that they were bringing out a spin-off product to it I couldnt wait. Mars planets have three different chocolates in it; each in the shape of planets (round) nougat balls. ---------------------- These are the same type of nougat you get in a normal Mars ... These seem to have the perfect promise, with things that go perfectly together. Nice, rich creamy chocolate, with crispy, chewy and soft fillings. However, they just don't seem to work. The packaging is quite nice, with a simple design that is easy to spot on the shelf. The writing is big, making it easy to read. It's easy to ... Read the complete review

Mars planets are a chocolate product that I really dislike. They are fairly new as I think they only came out sometime last year and are basically an attempt at mars trying to expand their sales by coming up with a new concept from their old chocolate bar the mars bar which is already a good idea. The idea is little balls, three in ... Read the complete review

Mars Planets are something that for whatever reason I've missed out on so far, probably more to do with the concept than anything else to be totally honest with you, I'm not a big fan of Mars bars I think their a bit sickly (that's coming from someone who is pretty much eating chocolate as a living now a days). So when the hoopla about Mars ... Read the complete review

Last weekend I was fancying something sweet but couldn't really decide what so Dave popped down to our local Asda and came back with a pack of Maltesers and a pack of Mars Planets. It isn't often we have chocolates these days as we are both trying to eat more healthily but you know how it is when you really fancy something ... Read the complete review

Went to the cinema last night and had an urgent need for chocolate type munchies! However, our local cinema has a really rubbish choice and I was left with Mars Planets or ridiculously priced grubby looking pick n mix. So, I settled for Mars Planets to satisfy my cocoa cravings. We got a 150g sharing bag and having nearly passed out at the price ... Read the complete review

When 'Mars Planets' first came out I was excited as I love Mars Bars and Galaxy chocolate so thought they would be great to eat! It seemed like such a good idea to put three different flavours outs of a Mars bar and wrap them all separately in chocolate covering to make three different flavours - a bit like Revels in a way as you ... I was sitting down watching Road Wars last night and felt the need for a chocolate fix and popped out to my local Tesco. I don't know what 'Planet' (sorry for the pun) I've been on over the last couple of years but yesterday was the first time I tried Mars Planets. The packet is slightly different to the one shown here as it says Mars Planets on ... Read the complete review

The packaging of Planets make it obvious that these are a spin off from the Mars bar and offer the same kind of taste, just in a different form! The packet contains a (pretty much equal) mix of 3 different types of round little chocolates which include: Soft: filled with a lovely soft nougat just like you find in a Mars ... Mars Planets are a rather nice treat, but they lose a fair few points for being very, very similar to Revels. For the most part, it wouldn't surprise me if Mars just bought Revels in bulk at extremely low prices, and tipped the contents into a Mars Planets bag! The only discerning feature is that the coffee and orange flavours, which are ... Read the complete review

My other half often comes in with a bar of chocolate or packet of sweets hidden in his work bag for me. The choice of sweets recently on offer was the 'Mars Planets', which I had spotted several times in my local grocery store but had not yet tried them. Any regular readers of my reviews will be well aware by now that I am a HUGE ... Read the complete review

Mars , as a company, has had huge success and is a brand I feel to be trustworthy and reliable in providing quality products. I must admit I was a little dubious when I first came across Planets, as spin off versions rarely taste like their original predecessor, but these are delicious. Mars planets are a spin of version of Mars bars ... Read the complete review

I decided to try these for the first time when my husband and I visited the cinema last weekend. As a person who doesn't like Mars bars particularly, I wasn't sure what to expect from these sweets, however I was quite pleasantly surprised. Mars planets are along similar lines to Revels, without the variety, and horrible coffee and ... Read the complete review

Mars Planets come in a few different sized bags and the bag that I have is the 37g bag which is available for around 50p. I bought a packet of Mars planets today in Tesco on a 2 for 70p deal which i thought was pretty good - i tend to base my spending around what's on a special offer. This is for a 37g bag which is usually around 45p. They haven't been around that long and when i first saw them i thought they were just copying Revels but then i decided to ... As the weekend is here I thought I'd treat myself to a packet of Mars Planets as an after dinner treat. Packaging: The chocolate "planets" are contained in a long rectangular plastic packet. Both ends of the packet are perforated and it can be easily opened without spilling the chocolate all over the floor. The graphics on ... Read the complete review

In Boots the other day they had a few clearance items, these items included Mars Planets. These plants came in a bag shaped just the same as a Maltesers bag but in black. Following my recent Mars review I figured I should do Mars Planets next. These items are suspiciously like Revels which is also made by Mars. The packet consists of a number of small round chocolates each filled wither either nougat, caramel or crispy fillings. Quite what the crispy filling has to do with a mars bar is a little lost on ...
