Anybody would think that I like chocolate when you consider the amount I was given for Christmas. I have been given so much of the stuff that it'll be February before I finish it all! So much for any New Year's resolutions about wanting to eat healthier! I am currently trying to eat my way through it as quickly as possible so I can start afresh in February, so I apologise in advance if all of my reviews seem to be have a similar chocolaty theme! After trying Mars Planets - a terrible version of a classic original, I was quite sceptical when it came to trying a different version of maltesers. Sometimes companies just don't know when to leave things alone and when Mars released the white chocolate Maltesers this was a classic example. I understand that sweet companies find it easier to release variations of their already popular sweets than to be constantly coming up with brand new ideas but there are things that can't be bettered or varied and the marvellous Malteser is one of them. I am sure everyone has tried a milk chocolate original Malteser or at least knows what they are but if not let me enlighten you. An original Malteser is a light honeycomb ball surrounded in milk chocolate which you can crunch or just allow to melt gently on your tongue. ...

---WHITE MALTESERS--- I love Maltesers. I think the combination of textures is just great and the fact that they are made in a sphere shape makes them fun to eat. In production since 1936 Maltesers are still made today in the same factory in Slough where it started all those years ago. Their idea was to use the goodness of malted milk and chocolate to bring the consumer a great taste with good ingredients and all wrapped up in a fun ball shape. Maltesers come in all sorts of sizes and packaging with several great variations to flavour.
