Maryland cookies have always been great tasting in my books. So when they released a limited edition triple chocolate packet I couldn't resist. They first thing you notice is the colour of the packet which is lovely brown colour, and as its made out of a foil style material is all shiny. On the packet you have the normal Maryland name branding in bright yellow with red edging. Around this you have a few faded swirls and a picture of the cookies your about to indulge in. The pack contains 14 of these addictive cookies, so bit of a bargain. The packet is a bit annoying though, once open you need to put them in an air tight container or they will go ... I bought these on purpose as I was making a chocolate cheesecake and needed a good biscuit to stand alone as it were. Luckily they were on offer at the time and turned out to be about 45p a packet. Usual details on the packet and to be fair not much comment with regards to the packaging although I have to say as its a foil packet you will need to store any remaining biscuits in a tin as they go very stale very quickly otherwise. Right to the biscuit- well they are not refined in any way but you wouldn't expect them to be would you?! After noticing these on offer at Asda, and being badgered by the brats, I relented and bought some to keep the kids at bay! The product I will now review is - "Maryland cookies, limited edition triple choc" My kids have a real weakness for biscuits, not these in particular, but any available to them. I am afraid that this is partly my fault, my kids are so used to having two biscuits with a milkshake or supper that when there are no biscuits in the house they panic!
