I can't remember how many years it has been since I first tried a Maryland Cookie, the classic that is chocolate chip which is now amongst a variety of flavours, but for the purpose of this review, I'll be sticking to the original Maryland Cookie that people know and love. Maryland Cookies look simply like any other cookie, pretty average sized but absolutely loaded with chocolate chips! There are quite a few brands of cookies and most chocolate chips in them tend to be flat, not real chocolate ('flavoured') and just sugary sweet. However, these don't taste like any old cookie, nor are they packaged like any old cookie. They come brightly packaged in red foil ...

Maryland cookies are in my top two cookies every. (tesco's cookies have been eliminated from my list due to bad taste - see my review on tesco cookies for details) Maryland cookies are exceptional, cost around 70p-£1.35! Places like Lidl and Tesco that sell these cookies will have them for like 60p - most of the time they are on offer like buy one get one free so its all good The flavours available for Maryland Cookies are: Choc Chip Oatmeal and Honey Cookies Choc Chip and Coconut (Export Only) Choc Chip and Hazelnut Cookies Double Choc Chip Cookies Fudge Brownie Cookies Mini Cookies And Milk Mini ...

Whoever created the concept of cookies was a genius, though I wish they hadn't made them so moreish! Maryland are probably the most popular brand of cookies in the UK with their signature shiny red packing. Although the recipe for these was brought to the UK from the USA back in 1956, they're actually produced by the UK company Burton Foods. The internet tells me that over 12 billion of these yummy things are sold each year worldwide, which apparently is enough to stretch from the pacific, across America and to the Atlantic. Wow, you learn something new everyday! Because they're so popular they're readily available so you should find them in most supermarkets ...
