Premium Review Nestle Matchmakers: the perfect family sharing treat (513 words)

You know it's nearly Christmas when you see offers on Matchmakers and that's exactly what I've seen this past week (£1 a box in Morrison's I think) so I snapped one of the boxes up and now it's time to share them with the family. For those who aren't aware of Matchmakers they are a boxed chocolate treat from Nestle that come in a small variety of flavours including mint and orange, personally I'm not a big fan of orange chocolate so went with the mint option. Although they are made by Nestle they have been a family favourite and the 151g boxes never seem to last particularly long as everyone seems to eat their way through the box without making any effort. The ...  Read the complete review

Matchmakes are always a christmas treat in my hous, so when I saw these boxes off matchmakers on offer in Tesco the other day for just £1 per box, I had to pick myself up a couple of boxes. I picked up myself a box or orange ones and a box of mint ones! The product: Matchmakers is a like a thin knobbly stick, with a lovely tangy zingy orange flavour, or a lovely cool mint flavour. They also have little 'crispy' type bits in it which makes it even more the scrummier! Packaging: They come in a very simple, yet unique box which everyone in my family immediatley recongnises! It is a purple with Matchmakers written across it with either a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Matchmakers: I'm A Matchmaker (320 words)

I love Matchmakers but we only have them at Xmas for some reason which is mad because they're not very expensive and are so yummy. When we went shopping yesterday I saw some in Sainsburys because they are putting all their Xmas stuff out now so I brought a box of the orange ones because they're my faves. Matchmakers are long thin chocolates that are smooth chocolate with little flavoured sugary bits inside them. This makes the chocolates smooth but a bit crunchy and they look knobbly too and not like straight strips of chocolate. The mint ones are nice but I prefer the oranges ones because they have a nice warm taste but the mint ones are very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Perfect (313 words)
by - written on 30/08/09 (Very useful, 14 readings)

These are a big British classic, with the usual high quality that Nestle never fails to deliver, a great taste, texture and a price that makes them very good value for money. They are also terribly addicting, and it is very easy to finish off the whole box the first time. However, they are also quite unhealthy but there is plenty to go around. The packaging is very simple, and easy to notice on the shelf. You can also read the clear text quite easily. The picture on the front will make your mouth water. You can open the packet very easily, and it is always fresh, but the sticks can sometimes be broken in half, and little bits will fall out all over the ...  Read the complete review

Now now now, This box of chocolates are probably my all time favourite....ever ! You can never get enough of these can you ? Although i do try not to have them all the time as i do with all chocolates but, i can never stay away from them. Normally you would get these a a treat for christmas, but if you see them cheap...what can you do ? When strolling down the aisle's at tesco i saw these beautys on offer and though, why not, and threw them in the trolley. I will only ever go for the Minty flavoured Match Maker's though. You can get them in orange and have i've heard strawberry too, i wouldn't like to try those though. Normally these would cost you around ...  Read the complete review
