Advantages: Flavour, easy to cook

The main reason I like these is that they don't have that horrible skin round them like most sausages. I'm not a great lover of sausages so I was quite surprised with this as it has a much firmer texture and a bit more bite and flavour to it.

As others have said, it comes vacuum sealed in a U-shape. It can be eaten hot or cold, cut up into slices or cubes, eaten whole - any way you like really. I usually fry slices of it and add them to a pasta bake - makes a good change from other traditional meats like mince and chicken. And it adds a nice smokey flavour to the dish. Really easy to cook too as you just need to heat them up.

The only downside to this product is that it is not one of the healthiest things you can eat. They are full of fat and a few nasties but so is everything that tastes good! There is a reduced fat version but it probably still is not very good for you.

Summary: Nice for a change
