I tried these as a spur of the moment buy when they were on sale at my local shop and Ive being buying them ever since and god are they moreish!! They dont look like they would taste very nice when you see the little shrivelled up bits of chicken but Im sure like I was you would be pleasantly suprised. They come in a variety of flavours so you should be able to find at least one that you actually like though the roast chicken ones are probably my personal favourite. They are filling and you can eat them on the go so they are very practical if your in a rush or eating them on your lunch break at work. And the packaging ensures that the chicken stays fresh and also ... Read the complete review

As much as I have a chocolate 'addiction' (I blame the parental genes passed down!) I am 'encouraged' to eat healthier snack too - more savoury than sweet so I don't lose all my teeth before I'm twenty! I do love chicken so these 'Fridge Raiders' little bags of Roast Chicken Flavour are perfect for my many snack attacks! Packaged in a little bag of ready to eat pieces, you get about 16 bites at about 1 inch wide by two inches long and they are yummy :) Made by Kerry Foods Ltd, each 65g bag contains 125 calories with a fat content of 7.3g...so I hate to admit it but these are better for me than chocolate then. There is 13.5g of ... Read the complete review

---Intro--- This morning I was in a hurry, and as I threw some lettuce and yellow pepper into my salad box I noticed the Mattessons Fridge Raiders which hubby stocked up on in Tesco last night since they were on offer for 50p a pack. Normally they are double this which is (in my opinion far too much). Anyway, I chucked them in with the salad, and now it's coming up to lunchtime I thought that I might as well review them and make back the 50p spent on them (hey, at least I'm being honest here!) and I'm not really being inspired at the moment to review anything else. I should also mention that hubby absolutely loves these, so I wanted to get a ... Read the complete review

This isn't the usual kind of snack I would eat, but I bought a couple of bags of the Roast Chicken Fridge Raiders for my granddaughters' at the weekend and they didn't eat them. I fancied something to pick at today and as I've given up chocolate for Lent this was really the only thing I had in the kitchen which would go someway to relieving my craving for something nice, I find I'm erring more towards savoury snacks at the moment so these seemed ideal. For around 98p you get a bag containing 12 or so decent sized pieces of chicken, they look rather pale but I've learned to overlook the appearance of foods as sometimes the most horrid looking item can taste ... What are they? ************ Tasty little bite sized nuggets of chicken that look like mini sausages. These particular ones are the 'Roast Chicken' flavoured' ones. Special features? ************* The little nuggets are made from 100% of chicken breast meat. There is no need to reheat, prepare or cook them - they are ready to heat straight from the fridge. Do they taste good? **************** In a word, yes! They may be small but the effect on your taste buds is huge. When you first bite into them, they appear soft but once you gradually suss out the texture and taste - they appear quite meaty and the ... Read the complete review
