When you are constantly on the go it can be difficult to find a quick snack that isn't crisps or sweets, so when I saw this on the shelf of my local Tesco's Extra I decided to try them. I'd usually be quite apprehensive about cooked chicken that is contained in a bag, but I decided to give these a try and they didn't disappoint. I would usually associate "southern fried chicken" with grease, but this product was the opposite. Although the chicken was moist it certainly didn't contain grease of feel fatty. Each 65g contains 119 calories and 6.5 grams of fat, which is less than your average packet of crisps and these are ... Read the complete review

Fridge Raiders have been on special offer in Morrisons, the individual bags are half price so are costing about 26p at the minute which is a bargain for a nice unusual snack like this. The only thing that ALWAYS bugs me about these Fridge Raiders is that the bag is quite big but you don't get many pieces of chicken in there and the bag could easily be half the size!!! Rip off Britain!!! Fridge Raiders are pieces of chicken breast that look like the Chicken Satay you can buy off the deli in Sainsburys, it's 100% chicken breast so you haven't got to stress that this is one of those manky products like some chicken nuggets that contain only 30% ... As my lunch usually consists of assorted snack items I decided to purchase these bites when I saw them in the chilled section at my local supermarket for a mere 97p. The packaging is very bright and colourul as it is on all Mattesons products and I decided to go for Southern Fried. There are also other flavours available including Roast, Hot and Spciy, Barbecue and Tikka. For chicken that is southern fried I was impressed with each bag containing 184 cals and as someone who watches what she eats I thought wow, I can have one of my favourite foods here and still button my jeans!I was also impressed with the sugar content. Here is the more detailed ... Read the complete review

I was doing my weekly shop in Farmoods for only when I spotted a new snack that caught my eye it was Mattessons Frdige Raiders for 79p.I had never seen them before but I thought I would buy and give them a try. They are usual £1.07p in ASDA but I have also been them on offer in ASDA as well for 3 for £2. You will find this product in the cold meat section in the fridge isles in your local supermarket. Nutritional Information: The bag is 65g and contains 119 calories, 6.5 grams of fat, which is quite good considering that a packet of crisps in higher in fat and less filling. The chicken content is 91% which is surprisingly high as most ... Read the complete review

I'm always up for trying something new to snack on so when I seen Fridge Raiders Southern Fried flavoured Chicken Bites in both Iceland and my local newsagents I decided to buy a pack. The pack is a strong foil packet which you open the way you would open a packet of crisps. You can buy other flavours including roast chicken, chicken tikka and even BBQ and each flavour comes in a different coloured bag. Southern Fried Chicken flavour comes in the blue bag. No matter the colour or the flavour though they each have the Fridge Raiders circle stamped proudly on the packet and the flavour is written underneath. There is also a small picture of three of these bites ... Read the complete review
