When I was at Asda, standing at the end of the book aisle, a pale coloured packet caught my eye at the sweet-stand that was situated just next to me (most appropriately I must add - many do tend to snack whilst burying their nose in a good book!). The packet was a shiny whitish-silver shade, with the traditional brightly coloured Maynard's logo spread across it. To the right hand size in attractive red lettering were the words 'Light' - an instant attention-grabber with me. Underneath, it stated that there was half the sugar in the pack compared to the normal wine gums. These seemed worth a try, and besides I had just developed an instant craving I simply could not let ...
