Make no mistake, McCoy's are the daddy of all crisps, in particular McCoy's salt & malt vinegar flavour (my personal favourites). As their catchy slogan suggests, they are "The Real McCoy's" and you should "accept no imitation". Target Market McCoy's crisps are firmly targeted at males (they're not so affectionately branded as 'man crisps' by the manufacturer United Biscuits). A hilarious advert has been placed on TV recently whereby a man is forcibly removed from a pub in a suction tube for knowing the answer to a 'feminine' question whilst playing on a quiz machine with his mates. Here's the question, "in ballet, ... Read the complete review

McCoys are one of my favourite types of crisps, if not my favourite. The Salt & Malt Vinegar being my favourite of the various flavours. ~~~ Packaging ~~~ The packet these crisps come in is somewhat different from other crisps. The bag itself is very shiny and really catches your eye. Before even opening the packet you have a positive impression of the crisps, just because of this shiny, well presented and generally all round high quality packet. ~~~ Taste & Texture ~~~ The crisps themselves are crinkled, although some have a "deformed" smooth side, which are my favourite. They are very crunchy and this ... Read the complete review

There's salt and vinegar crisps...and then there's McCoy's Salt & Malt Vinegar. Accept no imitation. The Pringle is of course, addictive. The Walker is of course an old favourite. But the McCoy is the 'man crisp'... The familiar ridged style crisp is a favourite with pub snacks, but more and more they are becoming a household favourite...especially if I've anything to do with it!! The glossy silver and blue packaging is eye-catching, but as you'd expect, they're not the 'healthiest' of crisps...if such a thing exists!! At 164 calories for each 32 gram bag, there are certainly salt and vinegar crisps out there which can be deemed better for you, ... Read the complete review

I have never been too keen on these. The flavour is too sharp and zingy for my liking. My normal preference with McCoys is for the Cheddar and Onion, and six pack at that. When I went to get my usual six pack the other day, they only had the multi flavour six pack consisting of 2x cheddar and onion, 2x ready salted and 2x salt and malt vinegar. My procedure when eating the multi six pack is to eat the ready salted, then the salt and vinegar then the cheese and onion. However I was so desperate for my Cheese and onion fix I went the other way. Now this is strange, when I got to the salt and malt vinegar, I actually found myself ... Read the complete review

Loving crisps the way I do it was only a matter of time before I eventually got my grubby mitts on a pack of these! I love salt and vinegar crisps and would say at the moment they're my favourite lol. The Packaging.... Gold and light blue foil 35g packet (32g size in a multi bag) and on the front in white and gold writing I'm told they are The Real McCoy's 'Ridge Cut' Salt & Malt Vinegar flavour that contain 30% Less Sat Fat with same great taste and to 'accept no imitations'. On the back of the packet I'm told again what they are and a bit about them, I'm given a list of ingredients and allergy advice, nutritional information is fully listed, ... Read the complete review
