I like a nice biscuit to dip in my tea and today I am having a McVities Shortbread Finger. I cannot eat these biscuits without a cup of tea because they are too dry and make me cough. These fingers are fat biscuits and each mouth full feels substantial and satisfying at first bite. Because they are so thick they are perfect for dipping in tea because the outside goes a little bit soggy but the inside is still crunchy. When they have been dipped in tea for a few seconds they will melt in your mouth. Without tea they are hard rather than crunchy and have quite a powdery texture when I first bite into the shortbread.
