Advantages: Superb flavour, high quality ingredients

Disadvantages: None.

McVities Boasters are a luxury chocolate and Hazelnut biscuits.

The packet has been restyled in recent years as I always remember it used to be blue, now it has a lighter coloured pack with a picture of a couple of delicious looking biscuits along with some hazelnuts and chocolate chunks which really look appetizing and if you are feeling hungry whilst at the supermarket looking at these means theyre going to end up in your trolley!

Inside the pack you will find just a handful of Boasters biscuits in a plastic tray, the biscuits themselves are quite large in size but when you pick them up they are not particularly heavy.

The biscuit is quite light in colour too and when you bite in you will find a really generous amount of large Belgian chocolate chunks and delicious hazelnuts. The light crunchy biscuit is delicious with an almost buttery flavour and has just the slightest salt aftertaste which blends extremely well with the smooth and rich chocolate and both flavours and complimented by the crunchy yet plain hazelnuts.

The quality of the ingredients used tastes really high and if I didn't already know I would say that these biscuits came from an expensive bakery! The biscuits themselves are extremely easy to eat and I have no problem getting through a pack of these!

These are luxury biscuits and do contain a lot of chocolate and nuts so the nutritional values are slightly above your average biscuit, but the extra calories and whatnot is worth it as the taste is definitely well above average.
