... around £1.30 and I'd say you get about 17 or so biscuits. Where can you purchase? You can purchase in most supermarkets such as Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys, etc and also independent corner shops or some chain ones. My view: I really like these as a once in a while indulgent treat. I love the added caramel, it is not a sickly sweet one and is one of the harder, chewier caramels compared to the sickly free running one. However when you dunk into a cup of tea it goes slightly smoother and the mixture of the chocolate and th...more

Premium Review McVities Caramel Digestive Biscuits: A fab combo (496 words)

I picked these up the other day at Tescos as they were on offer at half price and I had not tried them before! I was so glad that I did! What is it? They are yet another digestive biscuit by Mcvities with a thin layer of caramel wedged in between a thicker chocolate layer and he biscuit. Packaging: The packaging is that normal biscuit wrapper where you pull the tab to open them- about 3 buiscuits down. The packet is a yellowy mustard colour with a stip of cobalt blue reading caramels. It also has a picture of half a biscuit on it so you can see the 3 layers of biscuit, caramel and chocolate. Price: As they were half price ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Thats why they charge the extra 50p! (276 words)

After being seduced by the wrapping on the mcvities caramel biscuits I was tempted enough to purchase a packat for myself, and I would like to start off by saying I am not disappointed. The name outlines the basic structure of the biscuit, it is an average chocolate covered mcvities biscuit with a caramel centre. Even though most caramel biscuits lack caramel however this one definitely does not with a oozing liquidy caramel flowing out after every bite! The only problem I seem to continually have with these is that every pack that I tend to buy has either the first couple or the last couple broken into pieces, However I am not sure whether I am causing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review McVities Caramel Digestive Biscuits: Brilliant! (352 words)

McVities Chocolate Digestive's are very nice, and it was almost impossible for them to get better... until the Caramel version was released! The biscuits are very tasty, have a great texture and will melt in your mouth, although they are quite small, and can be eaten in a couple of bites. The packaging is very bright and easy to read. It stands out, making it easy to find the product in the overcrowded shelves, with a clear brand. It does a great job of keeping the biscuits fresh, and they always have a nice 'crunch'. It is also very easy to open, but hard to close and they will need to be put into another container to keep them at a good standard. Also, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A chewy digestive (328 words)

I bought these biscuits the other day as a treat when I spotted them on offer at £1 in Morrisons. I'm not really a big biscuit eater, but I do like a digestive to dip in my tea on occasion. They come in the usual plastic wrapper, with a tear off strip near one end. You just pull the end of the strip to open the pack, and then either empty the biscuits into a container or put the end of the wrapper back into the top of the pack to keep them fresh. The biscuits are smaller than your average digestive biscuit, at about a 6cm diameter, but it's still a decent size for a biscuit. They are quite thick, a little thicker than a normal mcvities digestive, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review McVities Caramel Digestive Biscuits: Twix version of the Digestive ... (434 words)

Can McVities do any wrong? Everyone knows how delicious their chocolate digestives are ... so their caramel version was bound to be a hit right? Well for me, yes it was! Far too moreish though, but then, aren't all McVities products! I could easily scoff the entire packet - so I do limit myself to two-three biscuits maximum at a time. These caramel digestives are packaged in the same way as all Mcvities digestives - the digestives are stacked one on top of each other until there is a certain number of them stacked up (I don't have the number to hand - will edit the review when I do) and then wrapped up to keep them fresh. The wrapper is yellow with blue ...  Read the complete review
