Advantages: everything, so tasty and moreish

Disadvantages: just the price

My treat before work today, I might even take a couple with me they taste so good!

The packet has changed since the picture above was taken, now they are mostly chocolate brown with the newer McVities branding; a more curved scroll that takes up half the packet.
They are in a cylinder shape just like normal Digestives but the biscuits themselves are smaller.

They are called Milk Chocolate Caramel Digestives...sounds good enough to eat already!

They contain no artificial colours of flavours. They are also suitable for vegetarians thank god.
The packet is 300g which is about 6 inches long, they usually cost around £1.30 a packet but are on offer for £1 in Morrisons this week.
It's still pretty expensive but they are so tasty!

So the biscuit itself.....
One side looks just like a slightly smaller digestive, the other side is where the fun starts! Coated in a thick layer of milk chocolate with a striped pattern.
Once you bite into the biscuit you get the texture and taste of classic digestive combined with sweet, melting milk chocolate....and then the best
bit a chewy layer of caramel.

The caramel is not the type in a Cadburys Caramel bar, its thick and hard rather than liquid. It is very chewy and sticks to your teeth but is so tasty!

These biscuits (like all in my opinion) are best dipped in a hot drink, the chocolate melts and so does the caramel and mixes into a creamy caramelly/chocolate and biscuit heaven!

The only problem is they are so addictive and the packet looks so small, it would be easy to scoff the lot if I really wanted to but luckily I have some (a tiny bit) of self control.
Obviously not a biscuit for you if you are on a diet, sorry!

I think i've found a favourite above normal chocolate digestives! I wish they'd stop adding more and more and more unhealthy ingredients to the good old digestive...but I love them anyway!

Summary: Mmmmm.
