I do like my Chocolate Biscuits, and although I did regard Hob Nobs as the best Chocolate Biscuit in my view, I think we have a contender here in the shape of these lovelies!
These are made by McVities and normally cost around £1.40 for a 300g pack. A little pricey perhaps, but they are so worth it. They are a brand name after all and although I am all for cheaper Supermarket brand Biscuits, these are a cut above.
There is 18 Biscuits in the pack and they are stacked on top of each other in a cellophane type wrapper. The pack is a bright yellow colour and stands out on the shelf easy enough compared to the brown colour packs of the other makes. The writing is in blue, so this stands out well against the yellow pack.
The Biscuits are an average shaped Digestive Biscuit shape. They are sweet and Malty on the Digestive part, with a thick, sweet layer of sticky Caramel on the top and this is covered by Milky Milk Chocolate. The Biscuits aren't fully covered by Chocolate, so you can hold this on the bottom part and not get your hands messy. There is a slight ripple effect on the top layer where the Chocolate is, and the whole Biscuit is in good proportion so you get a mixture of all the layers well enough.
There is 81 calories and 3.6g fat per Biscuit, and I could eat about 3 quarters of the pack without even realising.
Although they are a little sickly, they are just so lovely and very more-ish.
Certainly worth the extra money, as these are the best Chocolate Biscuits on the market in my view!
