Advantages: Only 65p on special offer for a 300g packet

Disadvantages: Sickly, not very nice tasting biscuits

I have just bought a packet of McVities Caramel Digestives from Morrisons last week and must admit I thought they were a new item until I realised from other reviews that they have been out for years. After trying them I don't think I have been missing anything.

They come in a 300g packet and cost 65p but this was on offer at half price so they must be £1.30. They are digestive biscuit, with a layer of caramel and then a coating of milk chocolate.
McVities Chocolate Digestives has got to be one of my favourite biscuits so I thought I would really like these but I don't.

When I opened the packet all the biscuits were stuck together and I really struggled to pull one out. It all broke up and I ended up with really sticky fingers. When I tried with a second biscuit this was the same, I think the whole packet of biscuits are stuck together with the caramel.

The taste was also a big disappointment, the digestive biscuit together with the caramel just did not work, I found them to be quite sickly.
I now have nearly a full packet of biscuits which I don't think will get eaten. Even plain digestives taste nicer than these.

You get about 20 biscuits in a packet and each one contains 81 calories and 3.7g of fat. I personally would eat something else if I was wanting to treat myself.

You can't beat Chocolate Digestives and this attempt by McVities to provide us with an alternative does not work for me. Even priced at just 65p I would not buy them again.

Summary: Only two stars from me.
