Advantages: Great to dunk, taste fab

Disadvantages: not invincible, unheatlhy, very addictive

Well where do I start? Is there really that much to say about a biscuit?

Ok, well i've chosen to review this product after a short debate concerning which biscuit beats which-Jaffa Cakes V Hob Nobs (Oh, you know who you are).

Now, obviously, anything that has the name 'hobnob' has to be the biscuit of the Gods, but perhaps if you're not quite as easily amused as i am, you actually care about how they taste and such.

Well, I do find these biscuits quite scrumptious (that word's not used often enough!) and their one huge advantage point over any other? Kindly pointed out by Mr Peter Kay, they make for perfect dunking! You can dunk 'em in your tea or hot drink of your choice with slightly less fear than your other regular, and more rubbishy (i.e. jaffa cakes) biscuit. However, it must be pointed out that sadly, they're not invincible. I'm still a little traumatised from that horrible day when my hob nob crumbled into my tea...it was so unexpected too.

The biscuit's kind of oaty and the chocolate's pretty much average, but again, i would like to stress the point that they're called hobnobs! They're also VERY addictive.

Chocolate hobnobs contain 92 calories per biscuit (but it's oh so worth it) and are free from artificial flavourings or colours. They contain milk, sugar and gluten.
Here's the ingredients list:
Rolled Oats (30%), Plain Chocolate (24%) (Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Vegetable Fat, Butter Oil, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifiers (Soya Lecithin, E476), Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Wholemeal, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Salt.

Erm, that's not too bad, right?

You can buy them from pretty much anywhere, and cost around 99p for 250g...i'd say that's about 16 biscuits. They come in a blue tube wrapping, and unfortunately, once you've opened the packet and left it for a bit, you have to sacrifice the top biscuit, for sake of stale-ness

I find there are two main techniques for eating these:
1. Simply bite, chew swallow.
2. Lick the chocolate off then nibble the biscuit. This technique by far is my favourite, as it makes the whole experience last much longer and is just generally more fun.

So, yes, I would recommend these biscuits, they're full of hob nobby goodness :)

Summary: Pass me the hob nobs now!!
