Advantages: chocolatey, thick, perfect for dunkin!

Disadvantages: crumbly, too moreish and loves the tea as much as you do!

~~Miss Piggy~~
Firstly, I'm a terrible junk food eater, I get urges for things like chocolate cornflake cakes from Sainsbury's, Philadelphia cheese with Pringles, maltesers etc, which last a month, but ill eat constantly that one favourite thing during that time.
My latest food of choice for a night in front of the tv is chocolate hobnobs, these precise ones in fact. They are so yummy, I have trouble sharing them with my boyfriend and hog them all on my lap, and I can quite easily eat a whole packet to myself.

~~Dunkin'~~
Everyone has to write something about the dunk test, after all, this is the point of chocolate biccies, no?
I might be slightly biased, but I think these biscuits are the best ones to dunk, but then I only like chocolate covered things to put in my tea so I couldn't vouch for them all!
Hobnobs are thick and nobbly (strange that) with a decent coverage of milk chocolate on top. I like to get a good dunk in of the biscuit and this one lasts a good while before you think you might lose it to your hot drink. I always think of that Peter Kay sketch when Im dunking this tea, as they are the Sergeant Major of tea dunkers - I almost expect them to shout out "Again! Dunk me again!"
The tea soaks into the lovely thick biscuit and chocolate and is so moreish...who can blame me for wanting the whole packet?!
~~HobNobs as Dunkers are big drinkers~~
I am reluctant to admit any negatives to my favourite choice of dunking biscuit but after I've eaten several of these biscuits, I do tend to be thirsty - and want to drink my tea. I reach for my tea only to find that half the blimmin thing has disappeared! These biscuits are fairly chunky and the tea does seep into the nooks and crannies of the biscuit. Great for eating and taste, bad for drinking the tea afterwards.

The other problem is they are really crumbly which leaves me with two problems, sipping tea and getting lumpy biscuit with my mouthfuls which is quite frankly disgusting. Secondly, I have a habit of sitting in bed and these biscuits are fairly crumbly, meaning my sheets and my floor are full of biscuit and chocolate every night!
~~conclusion~~

These problems are easily solved - eat the whole packet in one sitting and then you wont have any tea left to drink or make two cups, one for dunking and one for drinking. I didn't mention that I love these biscuits, did I?!!
~~Some Facts - probably best not to eat them all in one go like little miss piggy me ~~

According to the packet, they are a good source of fibre and there are no artificial flavours or colours. Other than that, like all nice things, they are quite naughty and the packet specifically says "Milk Chocolate Hob Nobs can be enjoyed as part of a healthy lifestyle" (no way!) :
FAT which saturates per biscuit: 2.2g
Protein per biscuit: 1.3g
Carbohydrates of which sugars per biscuit: 6.3g
Fibre per biscuit: 0.9g

Summary: Oh...delicious..
