Advantages: Highly addictive, tasty, and as Peter Kay says, 'great fo dippin'
Disadvantages: There aren't more in a packet
"One Nibble and you're Nobbled' that used to be the tagline of the Hobnobs ( it may still be, I haven't seen a commercial for a while )
I must admit since i first sampled the Milk Chocolate version of the HobNob's years ago ( they were first introduced back in 1987 ) I was hooked, the recipe is simple enough, its just rolled oats and is almost like a mix between a flapjack and a digestive biscuit, without chocolate they're tasty enough, but add the Milk Chocolate and you have heaven.
They used to be packaged in a traditional paper / foil style like most biscuits but over the last few years are packaged in the now common hard container with a lid, something I find to be a problem, mainly because once you remove the lid and start, its very difficult to replace it as they're very addictive ( I actually recommend putting them in the fridge for a couple of hours, I don't know why but they taste even better chilled )
Since I've moved to the States i was concerned I wouldn't be able to get my favourite "biscuit" but in fact my local supermarket sells them imported in their British section ( although you do pay a premium, but its completely worth it !!
They may not be the healthiest snack around ( although im sure there are much worse biscuits than this, and surely having oats in there has some kind of nutritional value !!! ) but they're one of the tastiest, just be sure to buy two packets next time you go out, as you may be surprised how quickly the first one gets devoured !!
Summary: Best Biscuit EVER !!
