Delicious! (McVities Chocolate Hobnobs)

Advantages: Really yummy.

Disadvantages: Fattening.

I'm not usually a big biscuit fan but I do love my chocolate digestives. And can you get any better than McVities? I don't think so. As I was doing my weekly shop I decided I wanted something different to snack on for a change and so when I saw these (on special offer) I thought I'd pick up a packet.

I've always liked Hobnobs and I think they taste nice on their own but the chocolate covered ones just add the edge and tastes so much better. The thing is though, they are like Pringles, once you pop you just can't stop, and of course that's what I did!

*****Packaging*****
I bought a 300g packet, with the blue background and the delicious-looking Chocolate hobnobs on the front of the packet. Once I see this, I just can't resist wanting to eat the lot and I think this is what happens with a lot of people!

*****Taste*****
As I said before, these chocolate digestives are just so addictive and I couldn't stop eating them! The base is oat-based, somewhat crunchy yet soft enough to sink your teeth into before they break. The delicious sweet milk chocolate mixed with this base is the perfect combination and I will be surprised at any chocolate or biscuit lover that doesn't like these. They are really delicious.

*****Summary*****
I would definitely buy these again, but there is one disadvantage to them. They are not exactly the healthiest of snacks, although they taste so yummy they are rather fattening and for me either have to be eaten on special occasions or have to be burnt off as I put on weight easily. Overall, a great quick snack and very addictive with a lovely taste that satisfies your chocolatey cravings.

Summary: Recommended to any chocolate or biscuit lover.
