McVities make different types of yoghurt breaks there are Tropical Fruit, Strawberry, Apple, Forest fruits etc. However I prefer Tropical fruit and Strawberry Yoghurt breaks. The tropical fruit is made up of a crunchy but soft biscuit which has some pineapples, sultanas etc between it and on top of the whole biscuit is a layer of yoghurt. These are the most delicious biscuits I have ever eaten I can’t even explain the taste to you, so you really have to try them out. I mainly buy a pack of six Tropical Fruit flavour and yes I mainly finish them in one day. How did I find out about these Yoghurt breaks? Well this might be a shock to you but I knew them at ... I approached the McVities Go Ahead Tropical Fruit flavour with some trepidation. I did not enjoy the strawberry variety of this product and feared more of the same artificial flavouring - and sadly I wasn't wrong. However as I bought a number of these products on Buy One Get One Free at Tescos I had to soldier on... What are they?: This variety of the Go Ahead yoghurt breaks is described as a "delicious yoghurt flavour topping on a light crispy biscuit with a sultana and tropical fruit flavoured filling". The breaks are a combination of a cereal bar/cracker with a white/cream yoghurt topping. The bars are present as a twinpack. Packaging: ... Read the complete review

McVities promote their Go ahead! product range at the healthier eating market. I was tempted to buy these tropical fruit yogurt breaks on their, still current, BOGOF offer. So for £1.99 I bought 2 boxes of 6 yogurt breaks (the second box was the forest fruits variety). Each box contains 6 wrapped "slices" - I was only expecting one snack per pack and was pleased to discover that they are wrapped in pairs (so 12 yogurt breaks to a box). Each yogurt break is 9cm long, 4cm wide and about 0.5cm deep. It consists of a crisply baked biscuit which envelops a thinnish centre layer of sweet tasting fruits. Each slice is topped with a ... I decided to try to give up chocolate for Lent this year but still needed a yummy something in my lunch box to help me face the afternoon grind. Whilst in Tescos I spotted the Go ahead Yogurt Break bars. They were in boxes of 6 and I think they were on a BOGOF offer (about £1.99 a box) as I also bought the Forest Fruit variety but I cant remember as I have bought them several times since. They are widely available at most supermarkets. The box was a little dull but having just bought some more I see they have now been repackaged. The box is bright green to match all the other Go ahead products. There is nutritional information on the front along with a ... Read the complete review

Go ahead tropical fruits yoghurt breaks are made by McVities and a great alternative to biscuits, and are ideal in a lunch box for school or work, or as a snack when you are feeling peckish! Go Ahead is a healthy eating range from McVities, the products are designed to be better for you than the conventional alternatives (in this case biscuits, but they also do cakes and chocolate bars). They come in individually wrapped packs of two slices, with five packets to a box. Each slice is about 10cm x 4cm large, and about half a centimetre thick. They are a biscuity base with fruits in it topped with yoghurt. The fruity filling consists of sultanas, currants, mango ... Read the complete review
