Advantages: tastey
Disadvantages: not one to dunk in your drink
Personally I feel a lot less guilty buying these than a full packet. Maybe it's because they have a lid on and maybe there's less of them...who knows! These cost 99p from my Sainsburys whilst the packet would of costed me £1.16. 17p makes all the difference.
They come in a cardboard tube with a blue plastic lid. This is supposed to prevent too much breakage but I think that if they were so concerned about the biscuits falling to pieces why don't they do it with their other varieties. It does however keep them fresh and as it's resealable they don't go soft. Although the tube is made from cardboard I am unaware as to if it's recyclable.
They are basically oaty biscuits with a layer of milk chocolate on top. I do not dunk these as I tend to find that they silently break off and you're left with an oaty mess at the bottom of your cup!
I do actually find them slightly savoury. Although obviously they are sweet I can definetly taste something salty in them!
There are no artificial colourings or flavourings so they too are following the whole reduce the salt and bad things in tastey food. Containing 92 calories per biscuit there's nothing wrong with having them every once and a while!
I think they taste a lot nicer when you have a cup of tea to wash them all down and are something you can enjoy whenever you like!
