McVities M & M's Chocolate Brownie

The Spar round the corner was selling these today for 30p because they are due to go out of date in a few days. They are chocolate brownies with mini chocolate M&Ms on the top. The brownie is delish. It's very rich and chocolatey and has a wicked chewy texture that is very similar to a brownie. It's more a cake than a brownie I think but it's very nice, the brownie is moist and the centre is nearly gooey because it's so dense. I think it's yummy, one of the best choccie cakes I've had in ages. Using the amount of alcohol I drunk yesterday as an excuse, I'm telling you I had chocolate cake for breakfast. You know some mornings after a heavy night you can wake up just craving sugar and stodge? I'm trying to give up chocolate - no, really, I am - for now, anyway. Christmas is still a recent memory on my hips, courtesy of a family whose idea of a thoughtful purchase is checking whether the Shell garage is still open on Christmas eve. So i just bought two of these about 15 minutes ago. It's 2 for £1.00 in my local Londis, i just cannot resist getting one (or two). *** Packaging *** Half of the packaging is clear so you can see part of the cake inside. The rest of the packaging is brown dotted with small pictures of mini M&M's.The cake itself sits in a clear plastic tray so it doesn't get damaged. On the back we have all the info we need.
