Mc Vities chocolate biscuits

Without doubt these are some of my favourite chocolate biscuits the crisp crunchy crumbly digestive topped with milk chocolate.
Mc Vities are now owned by united biscuit, as are so many other biscuit makes.
Mc Vities started making chocolate digestives in 1925 The people in the UK apparently collectively eat over 52 of these biscuits a second.

Chocolate digestives are available both with milk or plain chocolate and are made without using G M ingredients and they are trying to ensure that the animals they get their milk from are not fed G M foods,

I like Mc Vities chocolate home wheat digestive they are one of the better chocolate digestives. Tescos sell them for £105 for 400g or £148 for 600g packs.

These biscuits are to be found in a brown plasticy wrapper with the blue /white MC V logo. I have seen some lurking in cardboard tubers similar to Pringles tubes when opened the later stay crisp longer. The tubes contain 250g biscuits.

These are quite large round biscuits half covered in a chocolate that is rippled onto it.
The digestive biscuit is crunchy but crumbly. The biscuit tastes sweet and buttery and of wheat, the chocolate is good nice flavour the milk choc is sweet creamy the plain is a little les sweet sophisticated chocolate I prefer the plain chocolate. I find these biscuits a good comfort food .

So when do I eat these biscuits? Not so often these days as they are very fattening but I like these any time of the day with a tea or coffee, go down well if served at tea time or at a party, and you know what they say do you hunger after ~~~ well we used to keep a packet of these under the bed when I visited my bfriend while he was at uni.

Mc Vities home wheat chocolate biscuits are available in most supermarkets and corner shops in garage shops and I have seen them on sale in Spain. If you are living abroad they are available from an on line shop.
Mc Vities have been making these biscuits for yonks, ages before the newer chocolate hob nobs. They are cheaper than hob nobs.

These biscuits contain Wheat and dairy so not suitable for those allergy sufferers, for anyone else I would defiantly recommend these biscuits for a snack.
