When I shop for multipack snacks I am generally quite dissapointed with the range available. These however tend to be purchased by us the consumer due to the fact that they ultimately save us money. When shopping in my local Morrisons there is a section of multi-pack products which I visit weekly as i have to get snacks for my little boy to take to school for morning break. I prefer to get items that are as healthy as possible however this isn't that easy to do unless you are willing to spend a fortune. In addition he tends to get bored with the same items getting handed to him week in week out. The only thing that remains a firm favourite which he shows no signs of getting fed up with are Mcvities mini hobnob biscuits. These come in a couple of varieties however the one I will review is the milk chocolate version of the product.

These come in a pack of six and cost £2 for two bags currently as they are on promotion. Hence I took full advantage of the offer and purchased four packets as they never go a miss in my household. The packaging is slightly different from the one shown above, it is royal blue in colour featuring the Mcvities logo and states that these are mini Hobnobs in the milk chocolate variety. There is a picture of the lovely biscuits on the front and the wording 'great for on the go'. When the outer pack is opened you are greeted with six mini packets of the biscuits in similar colouring. These packs state that the product contains no artificial colours or flavours and that it is a good source of fibre. I only ever manage to get my hands on the very odd pack of these as they tend to disappear very quickly and nobody has had any. Must be that naughty Mr Nobody again who frequents our house often!!!!

The mini packs in my opinion taste absolutely devine. Bursting with flavour and each one just the right size to fit comfortably into an adults mouth. They are topped with milk chocolate which is of a good quality and the oaty biscuit base has just the right amount of crunch and crumbles delightfully. Unfortunately there are only six mini biscuits in each pack so I felt a bit cheated as with the full-sized pack I would probably eat around half of it myself to feel satisfied. Probably a good idea to stick to these then so as not to spoil my never-ending diet!!! An adult mini treat only.

The great thing about these biscuits is that I always find with Mcvities biscuits generally that you are getting a great product however if you are not completely satisfied they will give you a full money-back guarantee. Trust me you wont be sending them back. I would say if I had to critiscise anything it would be down to the excessive packaging very uneccessary if you consider the size of all the little biscuits combined. Generally however I would recommend these and I will continue to buy them as I think that there are certainly less healthy alternatives out there. 4 stars.
