pmcds Mentos Mints: ... and then one of our friends brought out a few packets while we were over in Canada. After having a couple, I went and bought myself a packet, having forgotten how nice they actually are. Recently, we have had a few packets of Softmints around, quite liking them, but Mentos are just as good. The mints themselves are a bit smaller, and a bit chewier, and while they don t necessarily last as long as Softmints can do ...

iamasadlittleboy Mentos Mints
... morning I had three things thrown threw the door at me, the first was definitely to wake me up, a 2L bottle of Pepsi, this was followed by a box of Tamiflu (it s currently believed I m suffering from Swine flue) and then almost as a sweetner a packet of mint Mentos. Coming in a mainly light blue, maybe even "ice" blue wrapper with a darker writing of the product name over the packet and in red and white the word "mint" (to differentiate the product from some of the other flavours they do). Much of the label isn t in English though what I can see is it looks like the product was made in Holland , in Breda to be precise. There is 3 languages on t...

liquidio Mentos Mints
... occupy a rather unique niche in the realm of mints. They are between classic hard mints and soft mints & chewing gum, but manage to combine the two. When you first put them in your mouth they have a hard texture, with a thin sugar coating - almost like a murray mint-centred smartie. But as they warm up and are chewed, the start to give way and eventually end up soft and chewy, before they dissolve entirely. This is a pretty nice experience, although trying to bite down on one too early can be a mistake! The mint flavour is smooth and not aggressive, perhaps even a little more mint would make it more refreshing - they are certainly a sweet rather than a breath ...

Claribella Mentos Fruit
... now and again I ditch the chocolate (shock horror!) and go with something a little lighter and more refreshing. On one particular occasion recently I picked up a packet of these from my local Spar for around 50p. Mentos are probably best known for being a mint but the fruit ones are extremely tasty as well. In the packet there are around 15 sweets that are made up of strawberry, orange and lemon flavours. They each have a mildly hard outer shell with a soft chewy centre and you can purchase them from most shops. I love how easily the sweet slides out of the packet and this is largely due to the fact that the outer shell is so smooth and glossy. If you run it throu...
