Milka Cream

Description: Manufacturer: Milka / Type: Chocolate

... nice finishing touch, and although it feels quite thin the square is slightly wider than average. Biting into this, you'll notice just how soft and smooth it is. You don't actually see any cream - the 'cream' in the description to the cream flavour filling that is mixed into the milk chocolate, which is made with Alpine milk. I'm not sure that Alpine milk makes any difference to me or many others buying this chocolate, but it does make it seem that bit more special and unique. Then again, I guess I would fall for ...more

Premium Review Milka Cream: Creamy Milka Chocolate Heaven (514 words)

I tried a Milka bar today after printing of a free coupon, and I'm glad I tried it because it's delicious! Milka is made by the Germany company Kraft Foods, a lesser-known brand in comparison to the popular choices like Galaxy and Cadburys. It's therefore not normally available in smaller convenience stores, but most good supermarkets seem to stock it. Milka is available, to my knowledge (from seeing what's in my local Tesco at least), in 3 varieties: Milk Chocolate Milk & White Chocolate Alpine Milk Chocolate Cream This review is for the latter. I was tempted by the sound of creamy chocolate as I prefer rich and ...  Read the complete review

I have to admit if you haven't noticed by now I am a bit of a food junkie, I am prone to leaving the house walking into town and if the pennies will allow it coming back with a bag full of goodies to try, pass around the family and then review for you.. I am a chocoholic and I cannot deny it, anything remotely chocolate based that has fallen into my hands I have happily devoured without really thinking about it - that is until I spot in on here and think whooo lets write!! Well today is no exception although this is not something I have bought today and fallen in love with.. I have been eating this for weeks and I just love it so much I have to keep buying ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Milka Cream: Breaking my diet Milka style! (477 words)

Today my daughter came rushing in with a bar of chocolate from Milka that she claimed was as good as Lindt Lindor only a little lighter in texture, just to let you know I adore Lindor chocolate but find it so unbearably sickly that I don't tend to buy it anymore. I remember eating Milka chocolate years ago, I recognised the purple wrapper and recall enjoying it although it wasn't a brand I came across or bought often. This particular bar, the Milka Cream, is absolutely delicious and is sure to become a firm favourite. My daughter's description of a Lindor type chocolate was accurate and so was the comment about it being lighter, I think it's a fantastic bar ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review On a par with Cadbury's (262 words)

Following on from my original Milka review, I also have this one to write up about. I paid just 47p for 100g of the stuff although you can normally expect to pay just under a pound for it. The chocolate is very tasty and rather than just tasting 'milky', it has that rich creamy edge to it. It's definitely much better than the original flavour because of this. It gives it a richer and more intense chocolate flavour that radiates throughout the mouth and leaves you wanting more despite the fact that your brain is crying 'Noooooooooo, no more calories! I think the other thing that makes me love this flavour is the fact that the texture is so ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Milka Cream: Beware: Gorgeously Addictive But Almost 45% Fat Content! (321 words)

I recently purchased a 100g bar of Milka Cream from Sainsburys for 47p. It is currently on sale from its recommended retail price of 95p. The marketing team behind Milka Cream have produced an excellent product. The sleek, glossy purple packaging features an idyllic image of a grazing cow, complete with a flourish of milk, which creates a rather luxurious consumer experience before the packaging is even opened. The chocolate bar itself is remarkably thin, approximately half the depth of its main rival, Cadburys Dairy Milk. The bar consists of a sweet creamy centre, enveloped in soft milky chocolate. On a hot summers' day, this chocolate bar ...  Read the complete review
