Take a 'moment' to enjoy these! (Milky Bar Moments)

These didn't appeal to me at all when Andrew choose them for his 'munch' at the weekend but me being me, I couldn't let him sit by and eat them all to himself. Yes, I am a typical wife!

Milky bar moments are Nestle take on Galaxy Minstrels except that they have one major difference and that is they are made from white chocolate. They come in 175g bags and will set you back around £1.50 which isn't cheap but let me tell you that they are well worth it; this is coming from someone who isn't a lover of white chocolate.

When the top is teared off, you are met with lots of little round balls that are slightly bigger than the average Minstrel. The chocolates are cream in colour and have a slight sheen to them. When you take one out the bag you will see that the sheen on each one is because it has a cream, crispy shell.

Once you have popped one in your mouth and start to chew, I find that the initial few seconds are similar to eating any kind of sweet that has a crispy shell but only moments later are you met with a totally new experience. The shell soon disintegrates and the chocolate starts to melt with it. That all familiar taste of the wonderful Milky bar chocolate falls over your tongue and makes your tastebuds go wild. The chocolate is dead creamy and goes down just as easily as a milky bar.

I found these to be absolutely amazing and far better than the original chocolate. I loved the smooth texture of the shell and although some may find these a little too sickly, I have to say that my poor husband was a little disappointed with how many I managed to consume in the space of a few minutes.

These come highly recommended by me especially if you like white chocolate, Smarties or Minstrels.
