... chocolate itself is smooth and creamy. They're hard to bite, but then melt in your mouth and taste rich and sweet. The overall feel is of quality, with no strange aftertaste, unlike some choccies you get in Christmas Advent calendars. Great for kids and adults alike, Milky Way Magic Stars have a fun appeal to them and taste delicious. But, there's nothing extra special about them these days from my point of view, and so wont be buying them regularly....more

I don't know what made me buy Magic Stars apart from the fact that I wanted loose chocolates instead of a bar yesterday, but why I went for these instead of Minstrals or Munchies??? They're little chocolate stars that are supposed to resemble Milky Way bars but they don't and I think they taste dead cheap even though they're not. The stars are soft milk chocolate and I don't think much of them but I can see why kids love them and they're soft enough to be a treat for even babies. The stars taste just like the chocolate on a Milky Way bar but that's the only thing that makes them anything like the bar. The stars are light and taste like ...  Read the complete review

A few years ago, I was with my cousin and her little sister was eating a packet of Magic stars, she is now 8 years old and still hooked on them. She offered me one and the light airy milk chocolate melted in my mouth, I was pleasantly surprised. Ever since, whenever I see them in the shop, I want to grab a packet. I realise I am far too old for them though. I tend to buy them for my little sister and, like me, she loves them. I purchase them from the local shop for around 40p. Then when I get my mothers house my sister glances at the packet with the biggest smile on her face. I open them for her and she eats them all in one go, she tends to put them all in her ...  Read the complete review

When my mum came over the other day she produced a packet of these for Noah. I didn't even know that these were still available but when I was next down Sainsbury's I picked up a packet for little old me to enjoy when I was alone. Magic stars are milk chocolate shaped stars that are about the size of a thumbnail. They come in 33g bags and you can buy them individually or in a multi-pack. Inside each bag you will find around 20 little stars that have a flat bottom but if you turn them over you will reveal a cute little, smiley face that is etched into the chocolate. They cost around 30p for an individual bag and in my opinion they are worth it. The ...  Read the complete review

My Auntie came over this morning and had brought a few bags of Milkyway Magic stars. I havn't had these for ages. There were an odd number of bags so I figured to save fights with my twins I'd eat a bag, I mean that's fair isn't it! What a good mum eh! The bag the stars come in is fairly small, maybe a slight bit bigger than a Mini Cheddars bag for example. The design is a bit different to the one in the picture above, the blue coloured background remains the same with MilkyWay in an oval at the top. Magic Stars is written along the top of the packet and chocolate stars are dotted all over the front, they look like an explosion of shooting stars. Underneath ...  Read the complete review

Whilst in Tesco's last night my little boy came running over with a packet of magic stars. 'Can I have these Daddy?' Well I've read about these before, I think it was on here, and I remember them having a good review. So I thought I'd let him try them. The packet itself is blue in colour and the product is made by Milky Way. On the front of the packet it has pictures of the chocolates, I bit like shooting stars. It also boasts that they have no artificial colours or prservatives. Upon opening the bag I notice about 20-30 little star shaped chocolates. I took a couple, just to make sure they were suitable:-) They were quite delicious. The chocolate ...  Read the complete review
