Five 52 gram multipack with 5 tubes in will cost you around £1.49, these cost around 45p individually About the Taste? These are fairly chewy what with the soft toffee inside, these taste really good and once the chocolate flavours kick in these taste even better, these do get stuck in your teeth a bit but they...more

Premium Review Nestle Rolo: Do you love anyone enough?? (568 words)
by - written on 27/03/08 (Very useful, 108 readings)
Rating:

Do you love anyone enough to give them your last rolo? I used to wrap my last one up in the gold foil and give it to my boyfriend when I was at school. Now......well I am not that stupid and always eat my whole packet! Ha Ha. I remember the TV advert for rolos where the little boy and girl were drawn by the illustrator on a park bench and they came to life as he drew them?? Do you remember this? For a reminder go to http://www.mylastrolo.co.uk/ Anyway rolos were introduced in 1971 and I have been enjoying them for my whole life. They were a real luxury chocolate when I was growing up and we used to get them as a treat rather than the norm. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Rolo! Nestle's Saviour (123 words)
by - written on 07/08/07 (Somewhat useful, 42 readings)

Nestle Rolo is probably the best chocolate Nestle have, and the most outrageously unique idea compared to Cadbury's. I hate it when each chocolate factory tries to copy one anothers products but you end up with the same thing. Well this is defintely different. Rolos are small barrell shaped pieces of glorious chocolate. They last a bite but the filling oozes well into your mouth. Once you eat one you must eat more and more. However the only problem is not to eat 5 packets on the go, as you will be put off. Good for an occasional treat! Also the best Nestle product out. Hopefully, Cadbury's will copy this idea, and enhance it to make this the best chocolate ever. Long ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Rolo: You Can't Have ANY of MY Rolos!! (292 words)
by - written on 21/10/09 (Very useful, 58 readings)

My mum gave me a pack or rolos the other day, yes not just her 'last one' but a whole pack so of course I said sod the diet and munched my way through the whole pack! I can't believe I havn't had them for so long. Rolos come in a deep brown packet, tube shaped and the tube clearly says Rolo in bright red writing, above this telling us they are provided by Nestle. When you peel the outter brown packet off you come to a shiny, golden foil which is delicately wrapping around 9 rolos in total. Each rolo is stacked neatly on top of each other then wrapped neatly together to hold them in their 'tube' shape. Each 5 Rolos contains; 125 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Rolos: The defintion of brilliance (300 words)
by - written on 28/07/09 (Very useful, 18 readings)
Rating:

Rolos are unique in there own way. Although the idea is relatively simple, there is nothing else like them. Like most Nestle brands, Rolos are quite well established as they were first made in 1938. Since then there have been a few changes in the recipe which has therefore made the Rolos as we know it, better and better. Taste -------- On the taste side of things, Rolos carry a perfect record. The taste is just brilliant, the caramel is just the right density. Not to thick, yet not to smooth, just in between. The caramel itself has an undescribable taste to it. Its one of those things that can't be put into words, but it just tastes fantastic. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nestle Rolo: Too moreish by far (439 words)

It had been a long long time since I had had a Rolo so when my friend had a pack the other day I took one and was reminded of how nice they are especially since I am quite a big caramel fan. When I then saw a three-pack for a £1 I couldn't resist and accidentally eat one pack on the way home. Rolos have been around for ages and for as long as I remmber have been advertised with the slogan of 'do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?' I haven't seen any adverts for them just recently but they did do quite a funny campaign with some people on the train with Rolos lying on the table and the train going through a black tunnel and when it came back ...  Read the complete review
