I try to be everybodies best friend so I can get their last one! =D Rolo's are what I like to call 'tube sweets,' pretty self explanatory really. They are chocolatey, caramelly goodness in one sweet. They were first made in 1938 by Rowntrees of York who I have discovered, upon writing many sweets reviews, appear to have originally made all sweets that have ever existed!

They are now made by Nestle and Hershey's in the US (I already know I don't like American Rolos). Rolos are 'caramel cups.' The cup is made out of milk chocolate and filled with caramel - not runny but quite thick and chewy - and then topped with a thick chocolate top. They are then wrapped in a tube like fashion. This lends to Rolo's most famous catchphrase which lives on to this day - 'Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?'

I have heard other people call Rolo's sickly in their reviews but I do not find that true personally. I love the chewy caramel inside, if it was any runnier I don't think I would enjoy it as it would be too messy. I like to eat my Rolo's in one of three ways - either whole, by biting off the thick chocolate cover and licking our the caramel, or putting it all into my mouth and putting my tongue through the dip in the top to get to the caramel. I wonder if anyone else does that? The only complaint I have about Rolo's is that I would like them to be made out of better quality chocolate. Nestle just doesn't cut it for me.

If you are a Rolo fan you can indulge yourself with one of their many spin offs - Rolo cookies, ice cream, cake, muffins, yoghurts, desserts, mini Rolos, Easter eggs etc.

A packet of Rolos costs around 30p - 40p and contains 248 calories and 10.4g of fat.

Summary: Nestle Rolos
