As you know I have a thing about cheese and chocolate. Well today I am writing about these lovely little cheese and bacon grills. They come in packs of four and are packed in a plastic clear container with a simple stickon label on the front. Giving you a clear view of the items for sale. There is on some packs a slide over cardboard cover too which I do not think is absolutely necessary especially in this day and age of recycling. The items inside are four small squares of bacon which I think has been reformed from bits and cheese slices on the top covered in breadcrumbs. These Bacon And Cheese Grills from Morrisons are horrible, me and my sister had one tonight and even though she quite liked hers I thought mine tasted proper greasy and I couldn't eat it all. They are slabs of thick ham that are flavoured to taste like bacon, this is topped with cheese and then the whole thing is covered in breadcrumbs. I grilled mine but I think you can do them in the oven or fry them, god knows who would want one of these madly greasy things fried though! lol The main flavour of them is just grease as far as I can tell. I only go to Morrison's on odd occasions as my usual supermarkets are Tesco and Asda, my daughter lives close to a Morrison`s so when visiting her the other day we took a trip over and I got myself what on the face of it seemed a bargain tasty snack but in reality was a waste of bloody money. The snack I refer to is the Morrison`s bacon and cheese grills, although calling them bacon and cheese grills should really be against trading standards because the so called bacon was more like reformed ham and the cheese well......
