These pizzas are absolutely gorgeous, and are perfect to have in for an emergency when you have had a tough day at work and can't be bothered lifting a finger in the kitchen (except to open the box, take the cellophane off, open the oven, put the pizza in and turn the oven on), or just simply because you fancy pizza! The pizza's themselves are a fairly deep base, with a lovely deep, crunchy base, lots of tomato and plenty of pepperoni, but it just seems a bit stingy on the cheese in my opinion so I always sprinkle a little extra mozzarella on just to give it that more authentic taste. I am not a big fan of Morrisons own brand products, but when I noticed their frozen Deep Pan Pepperoni Pizza I decided to buy one for my granddaughters' to share on Saturday evening while we watched a film. Of course, Nanny had to have a slice to in order to be able to tell you all about it - but gosh, I really wish I hadn't bothered as it's an awful excuse for a pizza! Cooking only takes around 15 minutes according to the box, but after this time the cheese still looked bland and slightly frozen so I popped it back in for another few minutes until the cheese was bubbling and melted nicely.
