Banoffee Tart is one of my all time favourite deserts, whenever I go out for a meal I always check the sweet menu to see what there is, if there is a Banoffee I have to have it, the same applies to Chocolate Fudge Brownies...if they are both on the list....I find it very hard to choose! As a regular shopper in Morrisons, I often find myself walking past the fresh cream chiller cabinet looking longingly at the yummy looking cream cakes, cheese cakes etc all sorts of delicious things. Morrisons Fresh Cream Banoffe Tarts (2 pack) These things are soo tasty. Again, as most of the morrisons cakes are, these are made freshly in store. The base is a pastry case and is shortcrust, quite thin with a zig zag kind of sides. The pasrty is a shell like base for the banoffe tart itself. On top of these pastry is thick creamy custard which is piped onto the base and then sliced bananas are added on top. They then cover this in smooth loose toffe sauce and then cover with a circle of piped whipped cream. To finish there is a sprinkle of chocolate. YUM YUM.
