Morrisons Frozen Mini Eclairs

Description: Desserts

Newest Review: ... price was reasonable, well it would have been had they been edible. A box of 24 cost me £1.52 from Morrison's (of course), ... more

... when you compare that to the £2.69 for 24 of Sainsbury`s mini eclairs you can see why people will try these. The fact is though the Sainsbury ones are everything that these are not, they taste good, the chocolate is real chocolate and the cream and pastry are delicious. If you like chocolate éclairs and a box of mini ones appeals to you then believe me it is well worth the extra money to get the Sainsbury ones, you are buying much better taste and much better quality....more

Premium Review Morrisons Frozen Mini Eclairs: YUK! (230 words)

I love chocolate eclairs but on recently trying the Morrison's Frozen Mini Eclairs I was almost put off them for life. These eclairs are so bad it is untrue, the chocolate on the top wa very, very thick which could be a good thing if it were nice chocolate but this stuff was actually chocolate flavoured icing type stuff and far, far too sweet and sickly. The pastry was so very, very soggy and just not nice at all and even the cream tasted like it was laced with half a bag of sugar. The sweetness of these eclairs was the biggest put off but the sogginess was a close second. The price was reasonable, well it would have been had they been ...  Read the complete review

When we had friends staying for a few days I needed to get a few different items for the freezer as one of the evenings we were having a mini party which was a sort of social event rather than a wild drink fuelled affair so I had decided to do a mini buffett for the evening. These mini eclairs were ideal as finger food as they are quite small and in the box contained twenty four eclairs all set out in a plastic tray so once removed from the packaging they can stay in the tray for the hour it takes them to defrost. They certainly looked nice enough, just a smallr version of a normal eclair wit a healthy layer of chocolate on the top however they did ...  Read the complete review

I bought these Mini frozen Eclairs from Morrisons, when I was looking for a few different desserts. These were for some of my family and friends who had come to stay with me for a few days. The mini eclairs, come in a dark purple coloured box, and there is a picture of the mini eclairs on the front of the box. When I opened the box there was a plastic tray inside and this was very easy for me to remove. I got twenty four mini eclairs on the tray and each one was in it's own little compartment. I found it very simple to remove the eclairs from the tray. The instructions told me to allow the eclairs to defrost for one hour. After this time ...  Read the complete review
