The product itself looks much like other gravy granules too, a sort of lumpy looking powdery substance which is mainly brown with white flecks. When it comes to a nice meaty dinner, I am a gravy man! Some people like just a little for flavour, some like a bit more for moisture, me, I like my plate swimming in it, I love to have meat and vegetables mixing with my gravy, except of course for roast potatoes which should be kept dry to stay nice and crispy! I love the flavour of a good gravy, it can really compliment a meat and lift it from being a nice piece of meat to being a wonderful piece of meat. With vegetables, a good gravy enhances their flavours and helps to produce a nice full flavour and a hearty mouthful. I swear by the Morrison's own brand of gravy granules because they are so much cheaper than well known brands that I have previously used but I have now tried their Onion Gravy Granules. They cost 1.28 for a tub of 170 g and go twice as far compared to the more expensive makes. I do love fried onions in my gravy and normally would fry the onions then add water and stir in ordinary beef granules, but with these onion granules there is no need to go to all that trouble.
