I sliced the first one in half and discovered it to be a very crumbly affair, I spread a little soft butter on the two halves and was eventually left with small pieces of scone on my plate as it fell to pieces. I make my own scones and it's an extremely rare occurrence that will find me purchasing them from the supermarket, or even the bakery. The only reason I happened to buy these is that a comment from a friend telling me how nice they were coincided with a challenge I'd set myself to purchase and sample five products from the Morrisons Value range. I have to tell you straight away that I am sitting on the fence with these scones, as they are neither 'really nice' (to quote my aforementioned friend) nor as appalling as the price or packaging would lead me to believe.
