I like to vary my breakfast choices and one item which usually makes an appearance or two during the week is these white muffins from Morrisons. They make an excellent breakfast whether you're just having one on its own with a little butter, or using it instead of bread to hold a tasty filling. You get six muffins in a pack and they look lovely, perhaps a little bit thinner than the ones I buy sometimes from Sainsbury's but they do look very nice indeed with a light golden crust and a dusting of flour on the top. The muffins are easy to slice in half and brown nicely under the grill, although I do find you have to watch them like a hawk as they go from ... Read the complete review

I love any type of bread products, especially for puddings and for breakfast. These muffins are perfect as they can be eaten with a savoury or sweet topping. I usually have mine with strawberry jam or cheese, depending on whether its lunch or breakfast. The consistency is quite doughy but not really thick as is the case with 'proper' muffins. They are like eating a sandwich in that they fill you up, taste a bit like bread and have bread style fillings. To cook them just cut them in halve and put them in the toaster. Then spread with butter and any other topping you want. I find cheese goes best with the cheese style muffins, and that jam goes best ... Read the complete review

These muffins (the bread type, not the cake) are perfect to store in the freezer and defrost over night ready for breakfast in the morning. As a family of four we tend to buy several packs of the muffins so we always have some on stand-by. One of the biggest advantages of these muffins is that they are relatively cheap- there is often a deal where you can by two packs of six for £1, making the muffins less than 10p each! Muffins are usually eaten at breakfast time or as a snack between lunch and a main evening meal. The great thing about these white muffins is that they have no distinctive sweet or savoury flavour so they taste really nice with both sweet and ... Read the complete review
